Sword of the Lord Biblical Counseling and Training Center, provides gospel-centered counseling and training. Our counselors have years of experience in ministry, Biblical counseling, and are certified Biblical mental health providers. Our counselors are not licensed counselors. Our counselors have had specialized training in child development, interactive metronome therapy, mental health issues, women's issues, marriage and family, trauma, Child and teen issues,Trust based relational intervention, suicide prevention, addiction, and much more. Our counselors are required to continue their education and receive regular training. Most of our counselors have seminary or theological training as well. Many hold degrees in biblical counseling and are certified in multiple methods of counseling.    At Sword of the Lord Counseling Center, we believe that the Word of God has within it all that we need for abundant living, we use biblical principles to underscore all that we value and teach. We use various proven, scientific, clinical, and psychological counseling models to design treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs. Understanding our freedom in Christ and how to apply it to life’s difficulties in practical ways is interwoven in all counseling methods we use. We use a triune approach to counseling. Each person is body, soul, and spirit. Through counseling, we address each of these areas. 
 

The ministry began as an outreach to the many people we encountered who were experiencing depression, anxiety, hopelessness, adoption and family issues, and other mental health issues.  We believe that the Word of God has the power to transform lives through the renewing of the mind coupled with proven therapies.  Our counselors have years of ministry and counseling experience.  They are always increasing their knowledge through training. We apply the word of God in counseling to help shine the light on issues that you are facing. We believe that the word of God can be applied to any situation, illness, trauma, or circumstance. 

 It is our desire to see others become equipped to help walk alongside those who are struggling in life.

Counseling Fees:

We are not on any insurance boards, so we do not take insurance. We are self-pay only. We are willing to provide you with a super bill that you can give to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. We cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance carrier. Please check with your provider before coming to counseling. All sessions must be paid prior to your session. We do offer discounts on counseling packages. For packages we offer payment plans. Please discuss packages and payment plans with your counselor.
